Jigsaw: Perspective
Perspective is an API by Google Jigsaw that uses machine learning to identify toxic comments, making it easier to host better conversations online.
Who is it for? There’s no single use-case for Perspective. publishers and platforms can use the API to empower a variety of functions.
For Moderators
Perspective can help moderators quickly prioritize and review comments.
For Commenters
It can give real-time feedback to commenters when comments may violate community guidelines or may be perceived as “toxic” to the conversation.
For Readers
Perspective can give readers control over which comments they see, for example hiding comments that may be abusive or toxic.
